Before you begin work in the IDE, you should be familiar with the following concepts:
You need to connect to an Internet Explorer, and profile, debug based on the web application running at the connected Internet Explorer. You can either attach to a running Internet Explorer or you can start a new Internet Explorer.
The Running Document window shows the hierarchical organization of the loaded HTML and JavaScript files and allows you to expand a node to view the objects contained within it.
You can begin working in the IDE without creating a project first. You can first setup breakpoints and profile triggers, debug and profile web applications, and later save it in your own project. By organizing your work in the IDE into projects, you can save all your settings as a whole.
